About us

We believe lasting performance is built from within.

Infinity Potential was founded on the belief that sustainable performance cannot be imposed from the outside. It is created when organisations understand what is really affecting performance, make decisions based on evidence and strengthen the confidence, capability and culture needed to carry change forward.

Vision and mission

Two statements, and everything we do sits between them.

One describes where we are trying to get to. The other describes how we get there. Neither of them ends with a report.

Our vision

At Infinity Potential, we believe that every individual, team and organisation possesses untapped potential.

We believe organisations achieve their greatest success not through reports and recommendations alone, but by developing the capability, confidence and leadership to create lasting improvement from within. That is why we are not a traditional consultancy. We work alongside our clients as trusted partners, understanding their challenges, designing practical solutions and supporting delivery until meaningful and measurable outcomes have been achieved.

By combining behavioural science, operational excellence and emerging technologies, we help organisations strengthen leadership, build capability and create sustainable high performance.

Through our Assess, Design and Deliver methodology, we turn insight into action, helping organisations continuously learn, adapt and improve in an increasingly complex world.

Our vision is to help create organisations where continuous improvement becomes part of everyday culture, where leadership enables people to achieve their full potential and where lasting performance is built from within rather than imposed from outside.

Because true transformation is not achieved through advice alone. It is achieved by turning potential into performance.

Our mission

At Infinity Potential, our mission is to help individuals, teams and organisations realise their full potential by Assessing performance, Designing practical solutions and Delivering measurable and sustainable outcomes.

We do not believe in delivering recommendations and walking away. We work alongside our clients as trusted partners to understand their challenges, strengthen leadership, build capability and create practical solutions that deliver lasting results.

Everything we do is focused on turning insight into action, ambition into achievement and potential into performance.

Our measure of success is not the advice we provide, but the capability, confidence and sustainable high performance our clients retain long after our work is complete.

Leadership team

The people who stay through delivery.

We don’t hand engagements to a junior team once the proposal is signed. The people below are the people in the room.

Richard Nanton FRAeS FIoL

Chief Executive Officer

  • Flight Operations
  • Executive Leadership
  • Organisational Transformation
  • Regulatory Strategy
  • Sustainability

Richard Nanton has spent more than 38 years helping aviation organisations improve safety, leadership and operational performance across scheduled passenger airlines, cargo operations, VVIP and business aviation, whilst supporting flight training and regulatory oversight. Having led Flight Operations in these diverse environments, he understands the challenges of delivering high performance in complex, highly regulated organisations where leadership, sound judgement and operational excellence are critical to success.

Throughout his career, Richard has held senior executive positions including Vice President Flight Operations, Director of Flight Operations, Chief Pilot and Chief Training Manager. He has shaped corporate and operational strategy, led large-scale organisational transformation, developed leadership capability and worked closely with aviation regulators to introduce innovative approaches to training, safety and operational performance. His career has taken him across Europe, the Middle East and India, providing first-hand experience of leading multicultural teams and operating within different regulatory and organisational environments.

Despite his extensive executive leadership experience, Richard continues to fly as an airline captain and serve as a Type Rating Examiner, instructor and Crew Resource Management Instructor. This enables him to combine strategic leadership with current operational insight while continuing to develop leadership, decision making and team performance within a high reliability industry. He also advises organisations on corporate strategy, leadership, organisational performance and sustainability, helping leadership teams navigate change while maintaining operational excellence. As Co-Founder of Infinity Potential, Richard believes that sustainable organisational performance is achieved by developing both people and systems. Rather than producing reports and recommendations before moving on, he works alongside clients to understand their challenges, design practical solutions and support delivery that creates meaningful, measurable and lasting improvements.

Richard believes the challenges facing organisations today cannot be solved by experience alone. High reliability organisations rest on strong leadership, sound judgement, continuous learning and disciplined execution, and those principles have relevance far beyond aviation. By combining decades of operational leadership with behavioural science, sustainability and the intelligent use of emerging technologies, he helps organisations unlock potential, strengthen capability and deliver measurable improvements in performance that endure long after an engagement has ended.
